MSDA’s 2026 “Spring Event” Dog Show

MSDA holds some of the largest AKC Sporting Group dog shows in the U.S. The 2026 event will include individual breed specialties, supported entries, obedience and rally trials, bird instinct clinics and AKC Fetch tests. Hundreds of dogs (400-500+ per day) and their loyal human companions and admirers are on site each day. The event also is open to the public and attracts current as well as potential future fans of sporting breeds. Americans spend a whopping $140 billion on their pets each year and this is one of the places where they show up with cash and credit cards in hand, ready to spoil their favorite show dogs – and themselves! If this is your target audience, MSDA offers a limited number of vendor booths at its “Spring Event” dog show.
All booths are inside and include access to electrical power. The price is $75 per day per 10′ x 10′ space and rentals are priced using 5′ increments. Spaces are available for all three days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). MSDA has allocated more than 1,000 sq ft in a high traffic area for vendor booths.
Due to contractual limitations with the Howard County Fairgrounds, vendors selling food will not be accepted. (That only applies to human food – doggy treats and dog food are welcome. 🙂 We also may limit the number of vendors who are selling the same types of products. IMPORTANT – Each vendor must provide a certificate of insurance listing as additionally insured: Maryland Sporting Dog Association, Inc., its members/officers/volunteers, and Howard County Fairgrounds (2210 Fairgrounds Rd, West Friendship, MD 21794) for the period of February 26, 2026 – March 1, 20265. Proof of insurance must be emailed to Gary Seibel via GSeibel@mdsportingdog.org and a copy must be available on site during the event. Your space will not be confirmed and you will not be allowed to set up until proof of insurance is received by Gary.
- For those leasing space for all three days, setup will begin on Thursday, February 26, 2025 starting at 2 pm.
- For those leasing space for the two weekend days, setup will begin on Friday, February 27, 2025 at 5 pm.
- The show starts at approximately 8 am each day.
- Vendors will be responsible for their own tables, chairs, extension cords, water and other displays and supplies.
- Vendors will be responsible for any and all costs associated with setting up their booth including, but not limited to, display surfaces and clean-up.
- Two parking passes will be provided to each vendor. (The regular parking fee is $5/day, Friday-Sunday.)
- Vendors’ business name and description (as entered on the registration form below) will be listed in the show catalog (if the registration process is completed by the catalog deadline) and on the Spring Event 2026 page on this website.
To sign up for booth space at MSDA’s Spring Event 2026, use the online form below. Once submitted, your request will be reviewed and you will be emailed an invoice. A member of the event committee also may contact you if there are any questions. Either way, you should hear from us within a few days.
Payment in full within 30 days of the invoice date is required to hold your space. We use PayPal to process online payments. Major credit cards and PayPal are accepted. However, you do not need to have, or create, a PayPal account to pay online. PayPal does not share your credit card information with MSDA. PayPal will email you directly with confirmation of your payment and you will be added to the potential vendor list. You also will receive final email confirmation when your insurance certification is received. You also may pay by check to the address provided in the invoice email.
Payments are not refundable unless the event is cancelled. Cancellations and refunds are at the sole discretion of the Event Chair or designated event committee member. A 10% processing fee will be withheld from all refunds.
